MOVENSYS is a motion control company specializing in high-performance EtherCAT-based solutions. Our main product is the WMX motion control engine, a software platform that drives robot arms, servo drives, I/O modules, and other EtherCAT devices with real-time determinism. WMX R2 packages integrate real-time motion engine together with a ROS 2 interface into a single solution, and integrates with tools such as MoveIt2 motion planning and NVIDIA Isaac cuMotion GPU-accelerated planning.

Licensing. WMX R2 combines an MIT-licensed ROS 2 interface with the proprietary WMX motion engine, SDK, and binaries, which require an evaluation or commercial license. WMX R2 as a whole is not MIT-licensed — see Licensing for the boundary.
